Ella at 15 months...

Ella is growing and changing before my very eyes! I feel like I am in fast forward with her and I want to push pause!! At her 15 month appointment she weighed 26 lbs. and she was 32 inches tall. She is in the 90% for both height and weight. Dr. F said she was perfect! I would have to agree :) She is jabbering up a storm and seems to be adding words daily. She is pretty much running everywhere she goes and is very busy! Girls and boys are so different! I love every bit of her sass and even when she is screaming at me I am every bit in love with her as the day I met her! Here are a few things about Ella at 15 months...

"Snack" - if you know Ella, you know she loves to eat and it is the funniest thing ever to hear her say "snack." She wrinkles up her nose and says it in the cutest way!

She loves to boss the dogs, or Jackson, or me...

Words she says - mama, dada, bubba, Jack, YaYa, Bop (Pop), Nah-Nah (Nanny), PaPa (Grandpa), Dah (dog), Juice, Snack, bye bye

She gives the sweetest hugs and kisses!!



She calls her paci and her blanket "nigh"

She is the dancing queen :) - loves to dance and rock out in the car

The sweetest boy ever!

Today we were driving to get family pictures made and Jackson said, "Mommy, I love you as big as the world." I thanked him, told him how sweet he is and told him how much I love him too. Then he says, "Mommy, there is not a little boy who could love you more."
Could it get any sweeter than that??? I love this boy so much!!

Happy Easter!

I love Easter. Obviously the egg hunts, candy, Easter baskets, pretty dresses, etc. is fun, but I love it most of all for the true meaning of why we celebrate this day. When I really think about Jesus rising from his grave and all that it means, I am so thankful and grateful for the hope that it gives us!

We had a great Easter weekend, starting with Jackson's school party on Thursday, hunting eggs with cousins and friends, spending the day with Nanny and Grandpa and going to church this morning. What a wonderful day with my sweet family!

Little Slugger

Jackson had his first t-ball game this past Saturday and it was a success!! He loved it and he did so great, we were so proud of him! It was about 2 degrees with Lubbock wind, but he was a trooper and played hard. He hit the ball hard both times he went to bat and got a home run (wink, wink :) ) the first time! The boys were darling in their little uniforms and it was cute watching the dads on the field helping them. Several of the kids from his soccer team are together again, plus a few more from Jackson's class at school so it has been fun to see them all play together. Go Rockhounds!!!

Catch up

I have not posted in a long time! We have just been loving this beautiful weather and staying outside as much as possible! Spring Break was a fun week, going to the Botanic Gardens with YaYa and Heston, going to the park several times, hanging out with the Miranda's and having a couple of play dates with some friends from church. Heston came to spend the night and we went to the Irons for a chili cook off. It was a great week. Here are a few pictures.


My Jackson is getting so big and is quickly approaching 4...I can't believe it. He is such a sweet boy and loves his mama! He is a lot of fun to hang out with and have little conversations with. He is a funny kid and so loving. He reminds us a lot of John and how he is always wanting to make sure that others are ok. Makes me smile :)

Ella is 14 months old now and a handful to say the least! She is starting to really try to talk and likes to make animal noises. She says "mmmm" for a cow, throws her arm in the air and makes an elephant noise, says "ah ah" for a monkey and Heston has taught her to growl like a tiger. It is really cute and I caught it on my cell phone so here is a clip of it.



She loves monkeys and she loves to "talk on the phone" and just jabbers away when she gets a hold of one. She is all over the place and looking to get into things at all times!

Little Cowboy

Jackson has decided to be a cowboy like Daddy, Grandpa, Uncle John and Uncle Brad. He said that he no longer wants to be Spiderman, just a cowboy. He got some new boots, a hat, jeans and a belt and wants to wear them everyday, he looks so handsome!





Ella wants to be like Bubba...
