We went to the Concert in the Gardens last night and had a fabulous time! We met our friends at Central Market and got food and drinks and then made our way in the HOT muggy weather to the gardens. Despite the crazy humidity and heat, it was a great time and the kids loved it as well. There was a laser light show and fireworks at the end so Jackson was amused with that while Ella passed out some love to all :) It was a wonderful evening with wonderful friends and my wonderful family!!

Happy 4th Birthday Jackson!!!
Happy Birthday my sweet, sweet boy! I am in awe of how quickly 4 years has passed since that wonderful day that God blessed us with you. I will never forget hearing the doctor say, "I see ten fingers, I see ten toes!" and hearing your cry stop instantly when she laid you on my chest for the first time. What a precious, unforgettable moment. I am having a harder time with you turning 4 than I have with any other birthday. I cried all morning, just thinking about how much you have grown and how you are a boy now, no longer a baby, and how time is slipping by faster than I ever imagined it would. I love every ounce of you. You make me smile, laugh, cry and even scream sometimes :) You have grown into such a loving, kind, compassionate, handsome and silly boy and I am so proud of who God is molding you to be. I can't even imagine the plans that He has for you and I am more than excited to see them unfold. You love your sister, family and friends and always want them to be happy and you are quick to comfort when someone is sad. You even cry when you accidentally hurt someone. It upsets you and hurts your little heart and I love that tender heart that God gave you. You bless me everyday and I love you more than words can say. Thank you for being you and Mommy is so proud of you!!

Fun in the Sun
We enjoyed this beautiful weather this week so much! We spent the day at YaYa and Heston's playing in the water and had a wonderful day. Ella loved splashing around and holding the hose to fill the pool and could not have been any cuter in her swimsuit if I do say so myself :) Jackson and Heston were wild men jumping in and sliding until they could not slide anymore! I love to watch the kids play and swim, it takes me back to my childhood and swimming with my cousins at Nana and Papa's. We are looking forward to the summer!

STRAWBERRY PATCH
We took the kids to the strawberry patch a few weeks ago and had a great time. Jackson did a great job picking the biggest, reddest berries while Ella loved squeezing them and eating them as we went along! We love going to the patch and want to make this a yearly spring tradition.

We spent a week at Granny and Pop's house and had a great time!

Ella at 15 months...
Ella is growing and changing before my very eyes! I feel like I am in fast forward with her and I want to push pause!! At her 15 month appointment she weighed 26 lbs. and she was 32 inches tall. She is in the 90% for both height and weight. Dr. F said she was perfect! I would have to agree :) She is jabbering up a storm and seems to be adding words daily. She is pretty much running everywhere she goes and is very busy! Girls and boys are so different! I love every bit of her sass and even when she is screaming at me I am every bit in love with her as the day I met her! Here are a few things about Ella at 15 months...
"Snack" - if you know Ella, you know she loves to eat and it is the funniest thing ever to hear her say "snack." She wrinkles up her nose and says it in the cutest way!
She loves to boss the dogs, or Jackson, or me...
Words she says - mama, dada, bubba, Jack, YaYa, Bop (Pop), Nah-Nah (Nanny), PaPa (Grandpa), Dah (dog), Juice, Snack, bye bye
She gives the sweetest hugs and kisses!!
She calls her paci and her blanket "nigh"
She is the dancing queen :) - loves to dance and rock out in the car
We had to start time out :(
She loves to play with my bracelets and stacks them all the way up her arms
The puppies are her buddies
She started using a fork and spoon
She is a mama's girl
She loves to be outside
She is STILL my chubby monkey and I love her more and more everyday!!
The sweetest boy ever!
Today we were driving to get family pictures made and Jackson said, "Mommy, I love you as big as the world." I thanked him, told him how sweet he is and told him how much I love him too. Then he says, "Mommy, there is not a little boy who could love you more."
Could it get any sweeter than that??? I love this boy so much!!
